I have a 91 with the bad LCD problem.
Does anyone know if you can retrofit a later control system - i.e. from a 93 - 96?
Are the plugs the same?

What exactly is wrong with the LCD?
Do the little pics light up but when you turn the headlights on there is no backlight?
There is a fix well documented on the SC site...and I have done it
