Default Update on big brakes

Well they are still awesome !!
The wheel alignment that was needed due to the 95 to 00 balljoints needed to clear the rack ball joints was done in a nano second as the alignment was only a tad out .
Have only had one semi emergency stop due to some idiot backing out of a driveway , pulled up way clear and easy !!
Won't really fully appreciate the mod till I have a REAL emergency stop , one where the standard brakes wouldn't have allowed me to stop in time .
Was excellant to already having the bigger dust shields installed [ done way back when wheel bearings where done ] just made the install that much easier and of course it was nice not to have to cut or trim/bend the original shield .
I also get lots of comments about how big the disc's are or how close the caliper is to the wheel !!
I still think it was worth every cent !!

I didn't know you were doing this mod. Can you take some pics? So, the front calipers are now 6 piston instead of the OEM 4 piston or are they 4 piston with larger volume? I wish there were 4 piston upgrades for the rear brakes

Mine is a 1st gen , so have gone from steel [ boat anchor !! ]two piston sliding with 276 mm disc's to 4 piston with 314 mm disc's .
4 piston on the back is not really necessary as with the weight transfer most of the braking is done at the front , in reality just a cosmetic thing .
