Default Noobe confused about interference motor.

Hello, I just bought a 1993 LS400 that I was told has jumped time. I have done several searches on the forum and I can't find a definite answer the issue of this being an interference motor or not. I did read a GENII was interference and a GENI was not....but I don't yet know when the generation changed took place.

thanks in advance....I'm sure I will be reading allot on this forum as I start to work on this car.

please search

1989-1994= Gen1 = UCF1x
1995-2000= Gen2 = UCF2x
2001-2006= Gen3 = UCF3x

gen1 was NOT interference
gen 2+ WAS interference

Gen3 is Interference I imagine as well, it's pretty much the same engine. They want to squeeze out all that compression from the piston, don't they?
