hey yall, the water pump on the 94 Black Jade is leaking. I called up my Atlanta dealer and they want 160+ plus tax for the water pump. I feel more comfortable using toyota parts but isn't aisin a major supplier for toyota?

yea i live here but havent heard of that company (J2Motorsports) prolly some guy running a parts op outta his house.

best bet is to call up carson toyota and talk to luis, hel get you GENUINE parts for a LOT better than any other place ive ever used

I've done two pump replacements on other peoples cars and both pumps I removed where Aisin .
So I guess Aisin is genuine .
I've become very pissed off with parts places selling " genuine parts " and therefore think they can charge heaps for them .
Do some research find out what brand the genuine pump is and go from there .

Aisin is the OEM for Toyota, but I would be careful on Ebay as fakes do circulate.
