Started my Electric Fans Conversion today...
...boy, that radiator was NASTY.
Hit a snag in the project as the damned fan clutch nuts are on so tight, I couldn't get them off. I tried GENEROUS amounts of WD-40 to no avail. 2 of them are stripped pretty bad, the remaining two not much better off. So I'm still running stock for right now, but need to figure out a way to get those off. Too tight for a Dremel to cut off, anyone here have any suggestions?

I had to take my drill and drill those nuts out. They're out now, and I'm only stuck on one thing...where to tap the signal wire for the relay..
According to Lextreme, you can tap the ignition. http://www.lextreme.com/fan.htm
I'd rather tap the accessory wire, but don't which one it is. Anyone with a manual for a 92 LS400? HELP PLEASE, this project is stuck until this is resolved.

I'd say just tap the ignition, and then run an electric thermostat (HKS makes a nice one) or, put them on there own circuit and use an electric thermostat, or just hook them up to a switch
thats how I'd do it; nice and simple

X2, the thermostatic relay makes it pretty nice. I used one on my aux fan for my Land Cruiser
