Is it OK that the factory timing belt comes kinked in the package?

My timing belt from the dealer didn’t come packaged this way, it had nice large bend to the belt and not a sharp kink as the one in the picture shows. I would personally only get a belt from the dealer as other less expensive belts are made from nitrile rubber designed for 60K mile interval, and not the highly saturated nitrile rubber which lasts 90K miles +. The OE bearings are Koyo, so not to worry there, however GMB is cheaper after market supplier and they have many of their parts made in China! It will probably work fine, it just won’t last as long as the original. One place I’ve found for cheap idler and tensioner bearings is instockauto.com, they also carry NSK bearings which are Japanese and nearly as good as Koyo.

looks from the picture that those are oem toyota parts, i can make out 'TOYOTA' on the serpentine belt at least and bearing boxes have Koyo and NSK on them . . .
bends in the belt shouldnt affect it, stored at cool temps and not for too long shouldnt cause problems - it's rubber afterall
how much is that kit?
edit: nm, 199 isnt bad at all if it's really OEM parts, timing belt alone will probably cost you that much from the dealer,
also a question - there is a water pump in the second picture but it's not in the description, have you tried contacting the seller about that?
edit: LOL nm again i see that they want additional 100 for the water pump, seller states that it is brand new OEM

The timing belt is ok the way you buy it
Lexus wouldn't have packaged the timing belt that way if it was bad for it. I see you are going to replace everything else while replacing the timing belt. this is the proper way to do it and keep down cost. Also replace the lower crank seal if will develope a leak around 150,000 to 200,000 miles. Some people leave the spark wires in change them also. Also change out both distributor caps and rotor and sparkplug wiring while you have the engine torn apart save money the caps and wires will give out later.
