Post New Mods...Have them on

I went a little crazy and decided to mod the LS. Here is what I have done so far.

1. Lowered the air suspension.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=28270"

2. Clear front bumber lenses.
http://www.procarparts.com/store/dis...LS400-9094-CBL

3. RED/CLEAR/RED back taillights - they look GREAT!
http://www.procarparts.com/store/dis...id=RCT-12-9094

and......

4. The best so far - a new exhause. I went with the Magnaflow. Started with them taking off the mufflers and putting the Magnaflow's on first. They started the car and it did not sound any different. I had them take off the resonators (sp), so I basically have a cat-back system. The car sounds SWEET!!!!!! Not to loud, but just enough. I put on the Magnaflow #14813 which can bee seen here:

If someone can tell me how to add a picture to a post, I will do that.

to post a picture, the image has to be put onto a server. go to photopoint.com and register. its free. You upload the photos on to the server and then right click on the photo and go to properties. Then where it says URL, copy the whole URL. Go to CL, paste the URL into the area where you type. In front of the URL, type

Dood, you have to send me the picture of your taillaights to retrodrive@iname.com I can post it or you if you want.

How did they fit? How did you go about changing all the lights around. Also, is your keyhole still on the lights or you do not have it?

The lights fit great. I also got to keep the key hole for the trunk. I was very suprised at the hight quality of the lights. It was worth the money. They also ship with the red bulb and it looks good during the day and night. My wife drove behind me at night and she could not tell the difference in the reds. Basically take off the old and put on the new. Comes with gaskets even. All the lights plug into the holes as they did the the OEM's.

RETRODRIVE - I emailed you so if you could post that would be cool. I would like to have the picture here in the post, not a URL you have to go to. Can you, or how do you do that?

Thanks,
Todd

I'll try to post a pic of the new exhaust and tail lights.

I try to attach a JPG file but it does attach the picture. The file is only 18k. and when I submit it, it puts a X where the picture should be. Any ideas?

Most free web space places does not let you link pics directly to them. I got your pic and it looks great; however, I am not in US right now so I can't get to my server to host teh pic for you. I will post it as soon as I get back unless you will do it before me.

My exhausts look same as yours but my bumper is different. I really like how the lights look!

Thumbs up Sweet...

That looks tight. I like the lights alot. Gonna have to get those for my car...

Also was the car lowered in those pics? If it was what size are those rims and how much was it lowered? Doesn't look too low. Is it possible of going lower than that? Thanks.

Happy New Year!

CoochieCrook - I lowered the car by adjusting the rods that control the air suspension. I believe it can go lower, but I would need to get shorter rods - I would rather have the suspension controller from Japan just don't know where to get it. It lowered the car by about 1.2 inches. The rims are 17"x8.5" and I put 235/45-17 on the car. I thought about 235/50-17 as it would fill the wheel well up, but I think they would rub on the fender when you turn.

cutecboy - I did have them cut off the resinator. I paid about $650 for the whole job. Probably could of got a better deal, but I really like the ma and pa shop that did the work.
