Default SC400 and LS400 Strut Bar

Does anyone know if parts from a 92-94 SC400 would fit in my LS400, name the strut bar. I saw a picture of the engine bay and it looks identical? Any other cars, such as the supra share the same part? If so, what year?

Thanks guys, im new here, just trying to learn something new.

i do not know the answer to your question, but you should try the search function. there might be something on such a specific part and models.

no, they wont.

however, a front strut tower bar made for a 93-94 supra Turbo(gotta be specific) will fit with MINOR mods.

Yeah, as PureDrifter said, a supra TT strut bar should work. I fit one onto my '98 LS. All I had to do was remove the engine cover.

Wonder what the Supra unit costs - surely it is cheaper than the Tom's.
Good information.

I think the only mod that some of the TT bars will require is some washers to act as spacers. But then again, some of the TT bars require nothing.

The Tanabe TT bar only requires removal of the plastic engine cover, and it's way cheaper than the Tom's. I got mine for $95 shipped.

Wow what a good deal. That's some huge savings over the Tom's. Come on they both do the same thing - if there is a difference it is likely so small the driver couldn't tell. Too late for me but perfect timing for others reading this thread

if u guys want an actual Strut bar, Cusco makes one in the JDM for ~$150 that is made only for the 98-00 LS400. no removal on engine cover necessary

dont think itl fit the diff. engine cover of the 95-97 tho.

I would spend the extra for the Cusco (98-00) and keep my engine cover before I would use a Supra TT.
