Default changing stock rims on a '90

hi!

i have a '90 LS400 and want to start modifying it. i want to start by replacing the stock rims with new sportier chrome rims (maybe), but i have no clue what to look for. a friend of mine got me into cars, so i know a little bit of some things here and there, but not enough to trust my own decision.

what kind of rims would you recommend that aren't too high-priced? what am i supposed to look for in terms of making sure i don't get the wrong sie for the tires?

any knowledge that any of you may have would be great!

thanks!
brittni

brittni, if you wanna check out some good stuff, goto vipstylecars.com. there are a lot of people that are from the big island on that forum. the majority of the people on the big island go for VIP style and i'm almost positively sure you're looking forward to the same.

Look at the Pics in the Gallery. Stock 17" from a newer model are good or 18"-20" are nice for aftermarket rims. Don't forget suspension.

honestly, if you dont want to spend too much just buy some OEM 18" wheels from either a 01+LS430, or 06+GS430/ISx50.
