Default another ls in the fam

Whats up guys? i forgot to tell you guys my dad and i picked up a 94 ls400 for my mother as a mothers day present. 1 owner 143k miles, opal white, anniversary edition. Its pretty awesome. I think we got a pretty stinkin deal for 3 grand. Just needs a good polish and the cluster needs some new capacitors. And some bushings. Otherwise... its awesome.

I LOVE ebay. So many deadbeat buyers and desperate sellers.

Will post pics after i clean it up real nice. The leather is so much softer than mine.

That brings the grand total of 3 ls400s in our driveway. 3 ls400's from ebay $7300, being a lexus owner... priceless... and awesome!

These things are so reliable, we're slowly replacing every car in my family with an LS
tomorrow will mark a year since i won my original ls400( in my avatar pic) on ebay! not one mechanical problem... 1 year and 18k miles later. I'm still in love.

I think he means they spent a total of $7,300 for 3 LS400s.

I'm really impressed with the LS myself and I'm giving some thought to getting another one, most likely a gen 1.

These are really impressive automobiles.

I'd like to drive the gen 1 and the gen 2.5. I've driven the 430 and never forgot how smooth that ride was. At that time, I just assumed the none of the other generations could match the smoothness of the 430 until a friend of mine gave me a ride in his 95 LS. The car had 150K on it and rode like the 430. Within two weeks of riding in that car, I got my 96.

I just think that the initial LS's are so good that enhancements in newer versions are just marginally better. I drove the 460 last fall, and other than shifting more often and being faster, the car rode no smoother than my 96 LS

the 1LS when properly maintained rides excellently but feels VERY slow, esp. if ur used to a gen 2 or 2.5 car.
