Default 100 more miles till 100,000

well my '92 Ls400 is about to hit 100,000 miles, the alternator just gave out in me today, but still running strong, i will post pics of the great event and where the car was at this milestone.

on a side note my dad's '99 Rx just hit 100,000 last week funny how they hit a 100,000 mile within a month of each other and there's a 7 year difference.

I would love it if mine had just hit 100k - I am approaching 200k and it still runs like a sewing machine. Guess you already changed your timing belt aye? BTW - nice clean car in your signature bro.

just change power steering and water pump about 6 months ago and wanted to lower it but with this alternator problem today i guess it i will have to wait. plus i am getting an iphone so looks like i will just have to car pull to get that lowered look right now. i just waxed it yesterday too and then i had to take it to the shop and luckly the apron that they put on the side of the car did not scratch it like juffy lube does sometimes with theirs

you know i think the main thing was i did have a bad power steering leak and as you know it is right over the alternator so that could have made it go, plus 15 years old is pretty old

100k.. You just breaking it in!!

You have lots of life left in it and it sounds like you maintain your vehicle.

I'll tell you I run my cars into the ground, I sold my Maxima with 195k and it still ran great no leaks -- I'm wondering when I'll sell my LS400?? I only have 66k on it.. Maybe in 5 years I'll buy a 2007 LS460!

Another Maxima owner. I still have mine. Gave it to my daugther with 183K miles on it. I hardly did anything to that car other than basic maintenance. It still runs like a top. I figure Ishould be good for 250K+ from my LS

well my car hit 100,000 miles today june 4, 2007. the only thing was that my mom was driving my car and when it rolled over and she did not take pictures does not know exactly where she was, thinks the 10 freeway and when she picked me up it was at 100,008 miles. it was like miss your kids birth, it only happens once. i am happy but said at the same time got a pic of it at 100,011, but not the same as right at 100,000. well maybe in another 15 years i will hit 200,000 and be around for that one.
