Default Joining the LS forum :)

just wanted to say hello to this forum as i join with a 97 LS400 Coach edition
i'm more known on SC forum, but i've been reading here for a few days now, i'm sure i'll be buggin' you guys with noob questions

anyways, i have a 93 SC300 and been looking at LS400 for a while and came upon a good deal so i got me a 97 with 81K miles on it, clean interior and clean and quiet motor
i've been loking on ebay and 95-96 models with well over 100K on it go for 8-10 grand so i think at 7 grand i got a good deal

so far i like it , very quiet, very comfy, very smooth car
no plans for any mods yet, probably gonna stay stock for a while

cheers

welcome to the LS forums, lets see some pics

for the mileage it sounds like a solid buy for a 97 assuming it has a decent service history.

what options? nakamichi, air suspension, seat heaters, etc...?

unfortunately no records, but i looked all over under the hood and under the car, there is not even small spots of any oil or any fluid for that matter, tranny is dry, runs very quiet, just needs new tires, shift ****, and cd changer magazine, other than that it looks and feels very solid

well, the armrest has "Coach" stamped on it, i dont know much about LS' options and stuff
it has ugly wood dash stickers and i cant tell if the radio is nakamichi or not, i was thinking of removing the stickers but i'm worried about the glue and being able to completely clean it up
no air i think (or i dont know where to look) no heated seats (there is no buttons on shifter console)
no pics yet, i'll try to snap some later`on tomorrow

what should a Coach edition come with?

air suspension=switches next to gear selector

coach edition had a 12v cigarette lighter in the center console.

glue=blow dryer on hot/warm with a bit of goo gone should get rid of it.

Welcome to Club Lexus. That sounds like a hell of a deal for a 97. What color is it?
