Default Seat modification, is it possible? Any ideas?

I have a 1998 lexus ls400. I am 6'06" and have to recline the seat back in order to have enough headroom in the vehicle. Does anyone know if anyone has modified the drivers seat to allow more headroom. I looked in the threads and could not find anything that talks about this. thanks for any help.

This is definitely a unique request. I haven't heard of anyone doing anything like that. I do remember that the GS guys had Recaro seats fabbed to fit in their cars, and these seats sat a good 5-6" lower becuase they didn't have the power height adjustment.

Maybe you can get brackets fabbed to fit aftermarket seats in your vehicle.

Thats about all I can think of.

or if u dont want aftermarket, have some brackets fabbed up for Supra TT or S2000 seats. both are MUCH lower.

Wouldn't that be a very pricey procedure?
