Does a 1998-2000 Ls400 front end match up with a 1990-1994?
Im pretty sure there not direct bolt, i think the older gens front were longer?

I believe this was one of the conversions

It can be done. As Pue drifter said there are several threads on this subject already. From what I remember it is really expensive to convert over, but if that is what you want to do and are willing to invest MUCH money to do so then good luck.

I have wanted to put the 96 front on my 92. I dont think it would be too hard but I dont think it would look to good neither.

For that kind of money, wouldn't it be easier to sell a 1LS and use the extra dough towards a 2LS?

Just doesn't make sense.

It would be just as hard as putting on the UCF21 frontend.

The general value of the car now...unless you really like it, this is a costly expense. A good bodyshop or even you, if motivated can begin modifying mounts to make it work. A welding rig, metal shaping equipment...it's only a matter of your imagination, time and $$.

If you're going to do all that custom work, I would do something totally 1 off. No sense in making it look like a newer Lexus, maybe instead, how about a Bentley?

I saw this on Vipstylecars.com and i just fell in love with it.
What your looking at is the First Ls400 in the front. I believe its a 1990-1994 with a 98 Conversion.

Its all about making your car different though. That work above looks damn nice. I think a one off job would definitely cost more than a conversion. It comes down to how cheap you get the parts.

I would like to get a 98 LS but I cant justify the prices, for one with "decent" miles.

I might go check my local pick & take junkyard where you get to pick any part of the car as long as you bring your tools to take it apart.. .

Yah , thats what i was talking about.
I just hate the ucf10/11 the headlight its so old & foggy
& the Conversion would surely light up the new look.
