Talking My LS400 Burning Out. >--VIDEO--<

I needed to get new tires today so I decided to take the car over to the nearest parking lot and put the old ones to good use.

This is our first video of the LS. It was taken with an old Sony 3.2 mp.

I want to thank my wife for her video camera skills, I think she did a good job for a first timer.

Next time hold that brake in longer! You'll slide more!

Yeah, the tires were completely shot!

The front end kept plowing like a FWD car.

I put some Michelin's on so I should get some traction now.

Yeah, we were in a hurry and lots of people were watching so I tried to do it as quickly as possible. I had an awesome set of figure eights going on last week but didn't get to make a video of it.

I need to go back there now with new tires and some more time.

Sigh....Next time, gather some speed then fling it sideways instead of understeering.

Oversteer > Understeer

Oversteer > Understeer
Sigh...

Realize that gathering speed and flinging a car sideways with all four tires bald isn't a great idea.

I'll make sure I do it right next time.

It's a perfect idea, as long as you dont slam into anything Just do it, carefully.
