Hello Guys!

I recently bought 1992 LS400 and have problem with speedometer odometer and cruise control.
Speedometer never shows anything. Computer telling me code 42 (speed sensor 1), but there is a big BUT.
I changed that sensor(autozone $80) nothing have changed. There are two speed sensor in the transmission. One, kind off pointed into tourque converter and another one located at the end of transmission close to drive shaft. I even tried to switch them(first with second) but had the same problem - code 42.

I don't know what to do. I bought 2 extra instumental pannels(on salvage yard) and tried them, guess what? Nothing have changed. On all panels speedometer don't show anything odometer don't work and cruise control don't work eather. However cruise controle ecu don't show any error codes(there is a cruise control ecu error code for speed sensor 1).
I am completly confused.
Does anybody have wiring diagram for this car? Or atleast know wich wire goes to ECU from speed sensor. Also I don't know if signal from speed sensor goes directly to ECU or it goes to instrumental cluster and then to ECU. If it goes to the cluster first I assume that all my 3 clusters are bad !!!?? All guages in the clusters work fine except speedometer..

If this problem in the cluster, then why computer giving me code 42?

It can be the case only if speed sensor signal first goes to the cluster and then to the ECU, I think.

Now I am ready to buy another computer just to test mine....
