Default Rear Seat Pocket.

This is my first post here and I own a LS400 1996MY. First thing I notice when I park is that my front passenger seat back pocket cover, has come off. I tried to hook the pins together, but it doesnt seem to want to stay together .

Pics:

so thats how it looks like on the inside.

i circled the hooks that go together, ones under the leather covering. The white plastic hooks are suppose to dig into the upper part of the seat, and the metal ones on the bottom, I havent had time to look at.

Has anyone had this problem? How'd you fix it ?

you have to push them together and there are 2 small screws that go in the very bottom brackets that you have to screw in to get it to stay. What you have to do is assemble, then take a stubby screwdriver(short one), lie on the floor and screw the screws in from the floor up. PITA, but can be done.

Yes, you can see those two metal brackets at the bottom of your seat back panel. The screwes supposed to go through them. Without them the panel will fall off like you experienced. It is not too hard to get to if you raise your seat all the way up and move it forward to give yourself some room back there. But then again, I'm only 5'4" so maybe that is why it wasn't too much trouble for me

For us tall guys, it is really a problem. I an 6'1 myself and i had to practically bend myself like a contortunist, and even then I could hardly see. Trust me,, find a short friend, or just cheat the best way you can. It can be done be us tall guys, but like I said before,, trying to get yourself in position to be able to see is a mojor PITA.

Maybe try a mirror on the floor and be creative with the lighting to get a good view
