Default noise from rear.....bearing?

91 ls400. When I drive if I'm accelerating or keeping the same speed I get no noise. When I take my foot off the gas / hit the brake I hear a winding or grinding noise. Come to a stop or start accelerating again and it stops. Sounds like it is coming from the rear passenger side. Is this the bearing problem and can this be done with out special tools?

Check your rear brake pads and calipers, mine grinds a little but I am getting a brake upgrade pretty soon...

Try jacking up the suspected wheel and turning it by hand to see if you can hear anything.
