water in the exhaust
alright guys, im really worried. i started up the ls today and revved up. when i went to the back there was water nearly pouring out of the exhaust. there has always been a little bit of condensation but never anything like this. ive never seen the temp gauge go past mid-way and the oil does not look milky. i tried to start the cars a few hours later and had the same result, water (im pretty sure) is spraying out of the exhaust. i should mention that there are nearly 239k on the engine. what do u guys think? is it the head gasket? i need to have this car running again asap and i need to do it as cost effectively as possible.

Might just be water in the gas tank from running it empty so often. I usually fill my tank when it hits half way.
Just buy some HEET or any good (Chevron) fuel system cleaner... but most likely you'll need some HEET for that.

im gonna try to get my hands on some HEET and refresh the coolant. hopefully i can give some good news on my next update..

It sounds to me you are just having condensation issues. A normal concern for all vehicles. Some vehicle develop more condensation than others. Think about it, if it was coolant, it would not be clear. And if water were to get into the combustion chamber, you would have white smoke coming from the tail pipes. Nothing to worry about if the vehicle is running as it always have.
Check the coolant level and make sure everything is topped off to the proper levels. If you are loosing coolant somehow, it would not come out of the exhaust as water, but as white smoke.
