the fogs and the headlights of the USDM are separate. JDM ones are combined into one piece.

the lens is 1 pc, instead of 2. looks cleaner.

plus they use H4 bulbs, and have much better light output and pattern than the USDM 89-92 lights (93-94 are H4)

i have no idea why up till now car companies do this! Why not just make everyone's 1st gen, worldwide 1 piece? It just seems easier to me

because every country has different requirements in order, and in the US they were just retarded in the late 80s/early 90s. think back, remember any car before 92/93 that had anything resembling decent lighting?

You could be right. Also, it may not be wired properly and is only receiving half the power. Just look for the H4 harness.

Problem: Noticed passenger side headlight was dim. Decided to change both bulbs. After install, pass side still dim. I remembered it looked like a crappy wiring job was done on that side. Previous owner must have broken the oem wire harness.

Im thinking that its not h4 specific so it does not have enough power to run the battery at full strength.

Can anyone verify if that could be right?

thanks for the reply garage. I purchased the h4 harness @ Oreilly and it looks much more similar to the OEM than what I found in the passenger side headlight area.

Hope this works, will report in

Hey any links on ebay for the wiring harness? The one you mentioned does not exist anymore.
