Default My 98 LS with 05 18" wheels

it has been a while since I have posted anything here. I just washed my car today and took some pics. I've mounted these wheels quite a while ago and just didn't have the time to take any pics.... so here you go...

My 98 LS has about 110k miles on it (no problem whatsoever).
The wheels are original LEXUS 2005 wheels (purchased on ebay for about $700 shipped) the tires are Michelins (purchased from America's Tire for $500 balanced and mounted).... Oh, I've sold the original wheels with tires for about $700 on ebay so this upgrade eventually cost me $500.

Will try to take some more pics with my new digital camera later.
All of you have a great weekend!

platinum series was ONLY offered on the last of the 2000 models as a bit of a 'last hurrah" before the LS430. it had OEM monotone (on black cars) and different wood.

bought the set from a private seller. there are lots of sellers who sell replicas of these wheels so be aware.

oh yes.. you are right. i just put black chrome emblems, Platinum Editions side badges (as shown in pic), replaced original floor carpets with the ones with 'platinum' log embroidered and etc. i call that a 'platinum update'

oh.. today, i replaced rear license plate lights with Polarg M4 bulbs..
i was not 100% happy with the result. i think i should try LEDs now...

my next upgrade will most likely be to replace tail lens with those japanese clear lenses. i forgot where to purchase them.. anyone remember?

How can I tell the difference?

Do you have any more side pictures of your car and more of the wheels?
