You've got an email... Post in the SC forum under the appropiate threads.. "Custom intake"(in the general and engine/trans section, "Seat replacement" that I started and the one by "Hoops" on the "borla exhaust" thread.

Thanks a million!

Notice the rubber grommet used after my friend Brad drilled the hole in the pipe for the vacuum line. 3 1/2" pipe cost $7.00, metal drill bit $6.00, hack saw $7.00 and grommets cost $2 for a box.

4 pipe connectors $2.00 each, used to route the vacuum lines. Plus teflon tape $1.00 to ensure there is no vacuum leaks & to hold the connectors in place...

Added air filter to MAF adapter and connected to sensor. Took off the OEM intake pipe w/resonaator plus factory air box. Cut bought pipes to actual degree needed..

Put the connectors together, testing the length of vacuum lines. Also testing the proper fit of pipe... Hmmmmm, may need to trim a little more...

Testing fit and placement of the intake pipe...

The intake pipe and vacuum connectors are looking good. Everything is fitting okay...

Everything is in place now... Whew, it looks good for a prototype! Double check all fittings, clamps, and positioning of the filter.

Plug the MAF back in.... Reconnect the battery.... Start the Lexus SC400... It sounds GREAT!!! Time to give it a test run!!!!!!

The car responded EXCELLENT to this mod! Throttle response was there thru out the power band.. It has a nice GROWL under the hood and notice the aluminum heat shield... Check out my brother's Porsche Boxster in the background

I may . I have another type I'm working on now that is almost factory looking! I trying to get the entire intake pipe made out of aluminum in a 4" type... Only time will tell...

I know you can make this one yourself it was quite easy overall... It really works!!!

What do you other guys think Stephen, Papa, Jbrady, Healer, LS4in530, Loule, Epk,?

Anybody good or bad??? I need so advice in going to the next level... It will work on the LS4 to so the more input the better it can become.

This is what we have been asking for right? A complete intake system, not just a cone filter alone...

I think you need to make one and dyno an LS with it. I mean it would be hard to sell something when you do not know how many ponies it adds.
