thanks Mike, i was actually gonna do 5mm in the front and it was the back wheels that i couldn't decide between 15 or 20mm. with these 245s i'm already 20mm up from stock and the fronts are pretty much just where i want them, but my goal is to have the fronts and backs be exactly in line with each other (each coming out to the same point)

Eastwind, I drive through Detroit quite often (drive tractor trailers for a living) and I have also driven my car up in that area(have relatives and friends in Detroit) with my 18's on and have had no problems at all. Agreed 17's will give you a little more cushion under the rim, but if you decide to do 18's, you will be fine as well.

GH5T, yes, stock height. I assume it sits like that because the rear sags a little. I'm going to drop it, but maybe only an inch in the rear and a couple in the front. The rear tires rub a little over big bumps and dips right now, so I'll have to go with a slightly more narrow tire in the rear also.

She's so high, front megans are maxed out for height. Rears are not, yet.
Roadtrip/extended stay setup:
OEWheels Bullitt wheels,
18x9 +33 effective
255/45-18 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar
18x10 +42
285/40-18 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar
Yes I still have the Mayas
No they aren't for sale
Yes they'll go back on someday.

front: 235/40 on r19 10/21 rims - no waranty about inner side (cornering and others). Outer side - wider / streched, i think - be ok if no spacer need (brake support - very wide!)
compare to my LS (look at photo of my setup for imagination) ,below - examples of my setup and your setup.
