160 (+-2 mph) when I was on stock tires and lowered. Car felt pretty stabe until freeway started turning. I would not advise anyone to do that on a stock suspension. My friend almost pissed his pants.

You guys make me feel a little better, I thought I was the only one, but not only once or twice, four times I've taken my LS to the limit.

1st: 120MPH
2nd: 130MPH
3rd: 140MPH
4th: 150MPH

Everything here was done on a empty highway, I'll tell you one thing when I look back I say to myself what the hell was I thinking, but I keep doing it. The joy of driving a smooth/fast luxury car is addictive. I say my prayers everyday!!!

To the big? I think the LS430's top speed
is limited bet 127 to 130MPH, can't remember where I read it, but that sucks!

That PIC is scary! How did you do that?

At that speed I was barley looking down. Just enough to see the speed but definitely not able to take a picture. Holy Smokes you got some set of B*lls.

Well anyways great pic thanks for sharing.

Not exactly. Flash is used for taking the picture without doubts and it's difficult to make such effect using photoshop. However, speedometer looks a bit unclear, so arrow can be moved in any direction.

Well I dont want to call anyone a lyer and I want to beleive the pic. I think its cool.

But After looking at the pic again I think I see taillights and headlights. If the little red dots are tail lights then this pic is pure BS or the pic was taken on a race track at night.

My reason for saying this is that I just finished goin 150mph, the speedo shows 145. There is no way possible this person could have been driving 145 at night with no street lights and cars that close ahead. At that speed by the time he put the camera down he would have slammed into the cars ahead. Look at the pic again the tail lights (if thats what they are) are not that far ahead.

I told you you need a 1/2 mile to slow down that car is way closer than that.

So after looking at the pic again I have my doubts. I want to belive it because it is a cool pic, but I just finished wathcing CSI and the evidence says this could be a fake.

for my 98 LS400.. the top speed is 151...

I did hit about 162 on the way to vegas(downhill) the road condition was clear and almost no car ahead!!

BTW, I m going to lower my car tomorrow!! yes!!

4500 rpm @ 151 ... wow amazing.

Hey guys here is what I also think about the pic Aristo916 posted. Either like you said he's on a track, on a highway racing with the car in front of him, or he's just a plain maniac passing cars at that speed. Hummm!
