theres a hole under the hood to the right...its near the struts where it goes to the fender and then theres a plug next to the foot e brake that you can run the wire through. i just did it last week although it took me forever to find it lol...you can look for the plug next to the e brake and have the wire go through there 1st so that i will be easier for you to grab. make sure to take out ur fender guards so that you can grab the wire.

Dont think there is a plug by the brake pedal, I think the one you are looking for is under the driver side floor(plug), under the car. When I ran my power wire in, I had to drill the actual wall by the master cylinder and then snakle the wire in.

The reason I put a 8 ohm speaker in place of the 2 ohm was that by putting a 8 ohm speaker and getting a 200 watt amp and running in the same area as the factory amp which was a small unit. I had the guys here at FRYS Anaheim CA put in my system for $60.00 labor and it just makes the car sound great I have great base not to much not to little I also put sealent around the subwoofer so as to have a deep fast base which sound out of this world I used shoe goo used for running shoes you can get at big five sports stores .

running the wire from the battery is actually a pretty easy thing to do compared to the other things you have to do, there is a firewall in the car but it is hard to get to being such a big car, you can see in the picture right were i put my wires, to get them from the battery to the firewall to the trunk of your car.

i ran the wires right on the trimming of the floor, i though it was a very good place because the wires tuck in it perfectly and u can pop it right off and on, and it makes the car look very clean not 1 wire is showing on the inside of my car.
