Default Philips HID - anyone?

Has anyone converted their LS to HID? I have seen the price of Philips HID come down to about $400 on ebay and that seems a good price. I am wondering if the conversion did change the aim or level of the existing housing.

Doesn't the LS use the same bulb (two filament) for both high and low beam? Wouldn't an HID retrofit would lose high beam?

I suppose one could use auxilary driving lights wired to come on as high beams but where would you mount them?

David I gotta take a look at the HIDS in person. To bad you couldnt make it to this meet. But maybe next time.Oh I drop by kembo on friday to have my signal lights rewire so they would stay on all the time and blink when i signal.

WhiteLS since you live in So.Cal you should go to Kembo and pick up a set of HIDS.Im very tempted, but i wanna see how they look on Davids car first.

Edogg, I actually live in San Dimas which is a stone's throw from you guys. I've been out of circulation lately but pardon me - tell me more about "Kembo". Does he have a store?

Anyway, gotta see David's HID one of these days and meet the other Lexus owners.

Yeah the meets are cool get to check out of nice looking Lexi's and go on our usual cruise.Yeah I sure us three could set up a mini meet somewhere.
