Default Car sat for two months, now low oil? *fixed*

So my car was stolen in the end of September, and I found it two weeks later, stripped. It has since sat pretty much for two months, I've only started it once a week for short periods of time. It didn't have a gauge cluster, but today I hooked up a new gauge cluster, and the oil light lit up. I went to check the dipstick, and sure enough, the oil does seem low. The oil level is right in the middle between L and H. Now, there are no leaks under the car or anything, so, where the hell did the oil go? The oil was changed a few days before the car got stolen, and after I found it, I checked the oil, the level was fine. And like I said, the car has been mostly sitting, getting started once a week, for 5-20 minute intervals. It maybe ran for a total of 5 hours since it was stolen, and I didn't see any blue smoke out of exausts. So what happened to my oil?

No, when I found the car, and started it for the first time, I checked the oil and the level was fine.

Forgot to update - it turned out that I spliced two pairs of wires in the gauge cluster wrong, so this oil light was a false alarm.

To wake an old thread... I recently replaced the good old capacitor C212 on my cluster, but now the oil level warning light comes on after about 15 seconds after turning the ignition to on or starting the car.

Seems to be the same symptom that was described here.

Exactly what wires could be crossed or spliced to cause this?

So I had a bent pin in the orange connector.

Seems to have been bent when I was removing the plug then was not in contact when I put it back in. Luckily the pin was not broken off or anything.

Yep, there are many wires in the orange connector, and all of them are different color/marking, except two, which are exactly the same. What happened with me, I splice these two wires wrong, and got the light. I respliced them, and it went away, so you probably had pretty much the same thing.
