Is the fix simply a replacement Bulb, or perhaps (hope not) a module swap?

Its a simple bulb. You can exchange it with the seatbelt bulb in the time being. Not sure about the first gens, but in mine it used to blink 24/7 when the seat belt isnt buckled, and that use to bother me to no end. I simply took out the bulb, and called it a day.

I did the same thing in the SC... the green PWR light burned out (we all know you need that one ), and I simply swapped it with the annoying seatbelt light (I didnt have any spare's).

Sorry, dont know the exact bulb size.

Do I need to pull out the instrument display unit to do this?
