1990 transmission trouble.
any idea's, i,ve a 1990 LS with 200k on the clock. recently the o/d light comes on and when it does the box does not change down when the throttle is pressed. Switching the ignition off for a few minutes cures this but a few days later its back. I know that Dexron is in the box and i'm due to put toyota oil in but was wondering if any you guys had similar trouble. look forward to hearing from ya's. B

Had similar problem, the wire on one of the shift solenoids inside the transmission had a bad solder joint. Re-soldered and fixed the problem.
