I have a 96 LS400 and I just noticed about a week or so ago that when I roll up the driver window it makes a noise, at the midpoint when the window is halfway up it makes a ping, knock, clunk kind of noise coming from inside the door. it only does it when I roll the window up, not down i dont think. what is that?

sounds like old weatherstripping.

I thought weatherstripping was that rubber stuff that lines the window around the edges? this sounds like something metal inside the door.
