Default AC fans not kicking in...where's the sensor switch located?

I was getting the LS400 smogged today and noticed they weren't kicking in. Two weeks ago, I had to press a couple relays in the fusebox back into their spots because they had wiggled loose somehow. Then for the first time I've ever noticed, the AC fans right behind the grill began to run. I live in a desert so having fans that work are a very good idea.

Fast forward, a couple weeks later. I was getting my car smogged today, I noticed that the cooling fans weren't on so I figured it was the cooler weather. Then I let the car idle for a while in one spot after driving around and the fans still did not cycle. Thankfully the viscous fan clutch is *extremely* well endowed, because I took a 20 minute nap in the car with the AC running and the temp gauge just

So can anybody point out to me where the AC fan relay is and how to test the AC fans for proper operation? I'm going to try connecting the two pins to give the fans power to see if it's the temp sender because the 30A fuse hasn't broken. In case it is the sensor, anybody know where it is?
