Default Diy Grill????????? 98ls

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone has made/customized your grill for you LS's, i saw in the GS forum this guy used paint stripper and it came out sick , but i dont know if the LS grill is made out of the same chrome underneath let alone if there is chrome.... Anyone have any idea's?

nope, the stock grill is plastic all the way thru.

no DIY that i know of involving teh STOCK grill other than maybe painting it. (i painted mine black)

Hey,

So it looks like my only options are painting it or putting chrome strips in front of it i guess....

Colors-
White
Black
Chrome

or put chrome strips,
what would u guys go with on this lexo

you could buy a billet grill for ~$250-300

Got any links for those? All I have found is the crappy chrome strips on ebay and then the plastic/chrome one that someone is selling on there. Looking for something for a 99

well u could spend ~$550 and get a JDM grill (WALD, JP, Fabulous) or u could drop the $250 on a Trenz billet grill for the UCF20 LS400 (95-97) and make it fit. it SHOULD fit, there arent any dimensional issues that ive noticed between the 2 years grill wise so it SHOULD work.

id lower it and leave it alone. just my 2 cents.
