I've never attempted to change the oil in my 96 LS400. I've had it for only a few months and the dealer did the last service. Any particular difficulties in an oil change? Where is the placement of the oil filter?

I've never done it myself, but the only thing I can think of is that it has a shield that must be removed from the underbody of the front end before you can access the oil pan or the filter.
