Default Cost of Full Brake Job

Forgive me for cross posting this here as well as on the LS430 subthread. I figured that maybe the older cars here (LS400) might have more wear and tear and thus better answers, but did not want to miss the LS430-specific thread since it is an LS430 that I am talking about.

OK, I fess up. I guess I should not have taken my car to a franchised muffler dealer (a friend owns it) for brake pads. Plus I drive too aggressively. But whatever the reasons, within 10,000 more miles I'll need 4 rotors, pads and I might as well change the brake fluid.

What should this cost a dealer? And if I find a REPUTABLE independent, what is a reasonable cost (parts AND labor) using OEM Lexus parts?

OMG it sounds like you got robbed. That seems like a LOT of money considering they didn't replace the rotors.
