LS 400 Engine knock

My 1999 LS 400 has 98,000 miles on it. If I don't drive it for a few days, when I crank the car I get a loud knocking noise and the engine shakes. This lasts for about 10 minutes and then it runs normally. Anyone had a simular problem?

do a search, then post.

lots of owners have had this happen, its a well documented problem.
