Default Mud flaps/guards 1994

Does anyone know of good-looking mud flaps for a 94 Ls400? Mine is black and I cant seem to keep it clean behind the wheels. I guess this is kinda superficial but I want my girl to look her best in-between washes. Thanks

I doubt if it is going to help by posting the same question multiple times - besides not too many people are interested in putting mudflaps on an older LS --> https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=198369

It is likely getting difficult to find mudflaps for a 90-94 LS400. They were available from several aftermarket suppliers in the early 90's. Mudflaps for the LS400 were not available from Lexus USA until sometime in 1991 or 1992. I bought a set for my first LS400 in 1990 from Park Lane Lexus/Toyota in London - around $300US equivilent at the time if I remember correctly. Mudflaps for the 95-00 LS are very different than the ones for the 90-94 LS.

According the the local dealer (Superior Lexus, Kansas City, MO), mudflaps for the LS were removed from the Lexus accessory catalog several years ago.

A year or two ago someone on this or another Lexus forum reported that there were only a few sets of mudflaps left in inventory at Lexus Canada but you might try emailing Paul at info@discountlexusparts.com in Victoria, BC (Metro Toyota/Lexus) to see if he can supply a set. While still low, the US dollar has strengthened somewhat against the Canadian dollar over the last few months but I would be surprised if a set of OEM mudflaps could be had for less than $350US. They might be more readily available in the U.K. or in Europe where they seem to have been standard equipment - at least I never saw an early LS in the U.K. or Europe without mudflaps.

One more thing - the relatively large OEM mudflaps for the 90-94 LS added some wind noise at highway speeds - I remember reading that they added one decibel at about 70 mph. The much smaller OEM mudflap on my 00 LS400 added no noticable wind noise but do not provide nearly the amount of protection that the OEM mudflaps on my 90 LS provided.
