What is the largest offset I can run for a 17" wheel?

The following is the recommend offsets to use on your LS.

38-45 offset

92 ls offset

So, can I run 17" 2001 ls430 stock wheels on my 92 LS?

I am pretty sure it can petrojeff.I have seen a 92 LS with 98 GS wheels on it.

I think all Lexus cars have the same off sets.

"Nuff " said D OH double Gee!. Just paid $1200 for the 17" 2001 LS 430 wheels with Dunlop 225-55 W rated rubber. I'll post a pic when I return from Vacation!
