Question

Have someone replaced the front turn signal bulb driver side ? What is the easiest way removing the car battery first etc. ? How about the passenger side ? I am thinking of replacing both since the driver side burnt out recently.

Not fimiliar with the 98 LS models, but your manual should say what kind of bulb it is.

If it is your turn signal with the orange lens next to your headlights then this is what you do.

From prior experience all you have to do is open your hood and look for the connectors behind the headlights and turn signals. It should only be covered with a piece of plastic, once you pull this piece of plastic off, then the connectors should be reachable. The signal light connectors should be on the right side of the headlight connectors.

Just grab the signal light connector twist and pull the bulb out and replace it with the new bulb and twist it back into the signal light.

This works on the older LS models, but i am not sure about the 98+ LS's,but i am pretty sure it is similiar.

Oh by the way welcome to the club 98ls400.

Thanks.

I wish it was that simple in the '98 LS400. Unfortunately there is no way to get to the back of the turn signal connector (front driver side).

Does someone know how to do it ? ? ?

The bulb is a 7440BA.

Please help ! ! !
