Question

Mo, I sent you this email. You can reply here or respond to my email. I am wanting to incorporate part of your 98+ air intake on my 97 LS400.

Do the 95-97 LS400s have the same size throttle body as the 98-00 models? If so would you consider selling just the MAF to TB pipe and TB silicon hose? If so, how much? I would need to modify it to fit my 97 which would require cutting the length and sourcing a 45 degree 3.5" ID coupling from my MAF to the tube. I would retain my stock air box and cold air ducting and replace the factory filter with a K&N (or do you recommend a different element?)

Thanks

You may want to try ordering an HKS MAF adapter and an HKS airfilter, then fabricate your own cold air box or else see if Weapon makes a CAB one for your application.

Did you notice my post was from March of 2001? It was directed to SRT specifically. I no longer have the 1996 LS400. I now have a 1999 in which I modified the factory parts to create a very effective CAI. I do NOT recommend the MAF adaptor/cone air filter mod on any model.
