i dont think they have any supercharger kits for the later model 1uz with the vvti.....but could always custom make one....look up in the lextreme site and you will get a lot of ideas!!

I am thinking about a low mount single turbo. I have also considered the Powerdyne SC head unit as it is very quiet. The belt drive does not require engine oil but they are not high power units, max around 400hp and are not that reliable. The turbo is the better solution. The hardware to install either is straight forward but you will need the ability to add fuel and ideally tune the ingnition curve. Lextreme is a great site for this information as there is more than one choice.

Either way I am installing the headers on my 99 LS400. I went into the project to design headers that would be a direct bolt on and they are for the GS400s. On the LS and SC400s a new Y pipe is required. This is not bad considering how restrictive the stock parts are anyway.
