Greetings,
I posted here rather than on the electronics thread because this pertains to LS400's

Has anyone built a sub enclosure that points the speaker directly under the rear deck speaker opening ?

If so, how do you do it without hitting the wiring for the brake light, fuel tank wire, and fuel tank itself.

And, how to mount a heavy enclosure up directly below the deck without infringing on trunk space,
I was hoping to build an enclosure that is no more than 6 inches high and hang it from the deck, but this looks impossible without hitting the stuff mentioned above.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Default I did this rather than the enclosure

Many shops suggested that i build the enclosure and others said they mess up much quicker.I then decided to go with an 8 " free air kicker for the stock sub.I attached a single channel amp to this free air kicker sub.It fit right in the rear deck without any drilling. My next move is to have them mount a sub on the vertical cardboard/carpet and attach another four channel amp to that sub and the door speakers.
