Alright I have read topics about this in the past but cant find them
I just got my car back from car toys and it sounds really good, they took out the old factory sub so that the bass could get threw into the cabin. Is there anything else possible that I can do to get more sound from the trunk into the cabin?
It still bumps but not like with the trunk open, I popped the trunk and it started setting off alarms in the parking lot < and they wern't even that close lol>

did you dynamat your entire trunk? (doesn't necessarily have to be dynamat) That should help some but you could also try porting your box directly through the stock sub hole.

put them in your back seat or you can get a box built for your car car toys should have told you this(the trunk is sealed, cause there is a gas tank there)try getting them to build you a box

the gas tank only takes up most of the middle, your best bet is to get a ported box built and the port hole will go up to your stock sub hole.that is the only way to make it sound the best.and once you have done that that is the best it is ever going to sound.i have 4 tens and a 3500 watt amp in a sealed box and it hits as hard as one ten.but it sounds really clean and deep.dont drill out holes in the metal it will make it sound a lil louder but not much.fork over about 300-500 dollars on getting a box built for your trunk, you could also go fiberglass it looks alot nicer then wood but it sounds the same, what kind of set up do you have, are you running stock head unit.
