Default Steering vibration - control arms?

My 92 LS 400 (200K) which I just bought is experiencing vibrations at speeds above 45mph and vibrations under braking. The front tires are unevenly worn with the right tire badly worn out on the outside while the left tire is not as bad. I just put in new front tires and did an alignment and guess what - alignment is within spec so now I am wondering what is causing the uneven wear on the front right tire? And even with the new tires, the steering wheel vibrates from 45mph.

Basically, the original problem is still there only a little better. I read about lower control arms being a potential problem. Could this be it?

uneen tire wear is caused by wheels being misaligned, sounds like your camber is out of wack.it could be that you have worn suspension pieces and the shop gave you an alignment anyway which they are not supposed to do b/c it wont fix the probleem. vibration when braking means that your rotors are warped and you probably need your wheels balanced
