trying to clean my windshield wipers?? I have the 96 LS and the wipers "disappears" underneath the hood when not in use. How do you guys clean the wipers - manually force it out from where it is? Pls enlighten me. Many thanks.

start the car, turn your wipers on. when it is pointing all the way up, shut off your engine, it should stay there.

on my LS i pop the hood open all the way,let the hood stay open and the wipers can be exposed.

The GS 430 manual says to pull the wiper arms up (rotate about pivot). I bet the LS is the same.
