Brake Pedal Feel on 93LS400

I recently changed pads on my 93 LS400. The brake
pedal felt soft, so I bled the brakes using one of
those doityourself hand pump bleeding kits and the
pedal felt no different. I then did it the conventional
method with two people opening and closing the
bleed screw and pushing the brake pedal. The
pedal still feels soft. Was there something else
I needed to do? There's some kind of brake
system test in the user manual that I did and that
didn't help out either. Please advise....
