have any of you used this product for ipod or dvd?
i read upon this on a thread, but i havent heard more than one member rave about it?
is it reliable? any problems? for $600 and plug and play, it may be a good investment especially the way the ipod is taking over the world.

am i the only member raving about it??? Or just the only one to buy it???
Is very much plug and play. At one time, I had the ipod + video unit, but exchanged it for just the ipod unit. At the time the video had some problems with interference but I have heard that they have since fixed this. I figured I would never need the video inputs anyways.
The lastest software supports both the simple and advanced remote modes for the ipod. In the advanced mode you can control your playlist selection through the deck and get song titles (if supported for your car) for my gs it was not. I just use the unit in simple mode which allows me skip ahead or behind tracks and still lets you control the ipod manually.
I say go for it.
