Default New wheels on the LS

After about 6 years I finally installed some aftermarket wheels on the LS. Here is the original look:

Here is the new look for me 245/40/18 all around. This is not the style I really wanted, but for the price why not $0000000000000

Last one. I know I need to drop it some more. I will be on the phone with strutmasters in the A.M. to discuss lower rear springs. I'm satisfied with the front end, but please feel free to give me some pointers...Thanks!

Forgive me, but I like the stock wheels better. Your new wheels make your brakes too visible, and honestly, that makes the car look wimpy. But if you're happy with it, I am thrilled. BTW, are you selling your stock wheels? I may be interested.

Hey I respect your opinion! I really want some 20" with the BBS look, but like I said you can't beat the price. I'm holding on the stock for now, I do have some other originals for sale. (non-chrome),

The offset looks reasonably agressive...how low do you plan of taking it?

For the price

I like a mesh style on our cars like spinout180 has.

For the others...there are some 18" LSportline M2's on that auction site. I saw them yesterday but do a search and they should turn up.

Nice, like how they stick out a bit more then stocks. Do you really need the mudguards?

I,m thinking of lowering the rear about an inch more or increasing the profile and width. I also like the mesh style especially the way it looks on spinout180's.

Thanks for your comment! To answer your question, Yes! I need them. It protects the finish from road debris.

Grand LS have you ever looked under your car at the bottom of the side skirts? Well they look pretty rough on mine. I took a buttload of tar off my car a couple days ago and realized under the tar were rock chips, but hey, it's only on the bottom right?

yeah it feels rough down there, but I don’t really have much tar. And its nothing you can really see from the side, unless you get on your knees or something. Therefore, it doesn’t really bother me. Plus the reason why its so dirty under there is because if you think about it, you never really clean that area. Depending on the area you live in, the roads might be bad enough for you to need them. However, here in Florida, where it rains almost everyday, the roads are so clean you can practically eat of the ground in the summer time. (dont try this )
