Default Integrated cell phone option

Does anyone know what the integrated cell phone option sold for in 1991? I want to make sure I get every penny from the company that owned the eighteen wheeler that ran over my beloved white steed.

Lexus customer service might be able to tell you the exact price. Or you could request information through the Lexus corporate website - they quickly responded to a somewhat similar question I once had.

I seem to remember that the price of an installed Lexus phone system was over $1,000 when I bought my first LS in early 1990. But within a couple of years, Lexus sent an offer to sell a Lexus phone system to me for $500. I don't remember if that price included installation.

But how much would a obsolete OEM analog Lexus phone add to the value of a 1991 LS400? For insurance purposes, perhaps a few dollars.

Thanks Kansas.

If it were my insurance company I'd be stuck, since I have an agreement with them regarding such things. In this case though, the May Trucking Company is at fault for totaling my LS 400, and injuring my wife. They are a large nationwide trucking firm, and are self insured.

I believe I can negotiate a fair market replacement value with them rather than a simple fair market value. The theory is, to make me whole, I'm entitled to what it would cost me to replace my vehicle, rather than what I could have sold it for. It never hurts to ask; if you don't ask you're assured of getting nothing. Negotiations can actually be quite fun, as well as very interesting.

A service manager told me his oldest parts book, 1996, listed a replacement phone for 700.00, and that's just the phone, presuming you already have the integrated system in your vehicle.

I'm a newbie to any kind of forum communications, so I hope I haven't breached any etiquette in my first posting.
