Default Indicator/Turn Signal Trouble

Hi all. Very new to Lexus ownership - I have a 1989 Celsior and need some urgent guidance. Tonight I had to jump start my car by removing the battery from my wifes car and connecting it to mine. The car started fine and I took it for a run to charge the battery which worked fine. However my indicators will not work. I think in America you call them turn signals. All other electrics seem to be fine and fuses appear to be intact. I need to have the car inspected in 2 days. Any help will be hugely appreciated!!

Scratch that - I'm a dope and found the solution myself
Still looking forward to being of any assistance to anyone I can and sharing experiences.
