You have probably figured out that you are not going to find an answer here. A power rear seat was never available in the U.S. on the LS400. Although a rear power seat (and all its motors) is illustrated in the repair manuals for my U.S. 2000 LS, there is not enough detail to tell how the seats come out. I popped the rear seat bottom cushion out of my old 90 LS many times but it did not slide on a track like in your Celsior. Mine literally "popped" up and out.

Hello,
I have a set of electric rear seats, but I did not have the time to put them in yet. Any information about them, wiring or pics from the rails would help.

Hello,
the part where you sit on can be taken out very easy, there are no bolts. Just pull the 2 tabs in the front and the part will slide out. The rails will stay in place. The back is bolt on at the lower and in the middle section.
Please take detailed pics of the rails when the cushions are out, that would really help me make them fit in my dads LS with standard backseats.

Hi,
sorry right now I dont know exactly what you mean, since I have never taken them out myself. I still have to put them in. My mechanic is doing the wiring for me, but he is afraid of the mechanic part. That is why I´am so interested in pics how the rails are mounted.

ok here's how i did it:
pulled 2 clips on each side of the seat then uncrewed 6 nuts from the back rest (including 2 hidden from the head rests with zipper + 2 mid console). then unlipped all wirings on both sides.

Hello,
thanks for the pic, could you please post a closer pic where the rails in the front abolt on. Maybe bent the carpet a little bit out of the way for that.
In my german manual is nothing about the child restraint system, sorry. Also there is nothing about the electric rear seats. They were never available, that is why my mechanic is not able to get any information over here.
I got the seats from ebay.com and imported them last year to germany.
